COMPANY PROFILE John Dockstader established Dockstader Dental Lab, Fresno, California, on March 1964, a sole proprietorship specializing in orthodontic appliances. Dockstader Dental Lab was incorporated as Dockstader Orthodontic Lab, Inc., in September 1981. Later in 1982, the Board of Directors welcomed three key employees, Michael Bausman, Gary Schmidt and Rob Bausman. They are also the company’s Technical Experts in the orthodontic field along side John Dockstader. In August 2001, Seng Kong joined the company's board. Dockstader Orthodontic Lab, Inc., a pioneer in manufacturing orthodontic appliances, took an innovative step in 2001 to acquire DeSantis Dental Laboratory of Fresno, California, a lab owned by Paul DeSantis. By bringing DeSantis Dental Laboratory under its roof, Dockstader now provides its clients with dentures, partials, flexible partials, crown & bridge, and implants, in addition to its orthodontic appliances. Paul DeSantis brings with him fifteen years of experience in making prosthodontic appliances to Dockstader. Paul is a member of the Dental Laboratory Association, and served on its Board of Directors in 1996 and was a component president in 1996-97. He has been chosen to head our Prosthodontic Department because his expertise, experience, and dedication to "Quality and Service" and vision are similar to ours.
